AG and I went to Boerne the other day to visit with Dennis of Spinelli's Vistro and Country Inn. It was a very nice drive. Beautiful day, clear skies and no traffic. That's always a plus.
This was my first time meeting Dennis, but right away I could tell we would get along just fine. He welcomed us with hugs and many jokes. We were there for a tour of the place for an article I'm writing about the venue, which by the way is gorgeous. Anyone looking for a unique, boutique-style facility with delicious food and amazing service, this is the place. Be sure to check out our website for the write-up on this place in a couple weeks.

After a tour Dennis was very kind to treat us to lunch. We had shrimp and chicken pasta in a creamy basil sauce with almonds. And a very nice glass of red wine to complement. This was honestly one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. It was light, but full of flavor. And they were very generous with the shrimp, which is very rare in my opinion.
Even if you aren't planning a wedding or event, if you're ever in Boerne (or if you aren't) stopping by Spinelli's is a must. The food is great. I'll be planning a trip up there soon for sure. Tell Dennis we sent you.
