Whew what a weekend. The January Wedding Fair was this past Sunday at the convention center downtown and I think we had a very nice turnout, lots of neat stuff to look at and some great inspiration. The booths were some of the nicest I've ever seen. Great job to all the participating vendors.
We gave away every single magazine! Brides, don't forget to e-mail The Wedding Lady a picture of you wearing your sanantonioweddings.com shirt for great giveaways.
Here's a picture of photographers and dear friends of ours GoGo and Dane of Dos Kiwis Studio. They do great stuff. Recently, Dane's work was recognized by PPSA. Read more about it here.

Alamo Photographic, Inc. had an entire wall of photos displayed. Very nice don't you think? They shot Eliza and David's wedding at The Weston Centre back in November. Click here to read about this couple's story.
Beautiful Cinderella carriage from Yellow Rose Carriage Co. Wouldn't this be an amazing way to depart as husband and wife?

Raul of Raul's Photography had this cutout of a bride that could make a cute personalized cake topper. I wasn't able to get a good photo of it. But it's on the table if you look closely.

Brandy Rendon of Unforgettable Events had a very cute setup, but unfortunately this was the only shot I got.
Mario from Touch of Elegance also had a beautiful booth. I wasn't able to get a shot of it all because there were people around it all the time (I barely had room to get through). But isn't this just gorgeous?

Daniel, Martha (his lovely wife) and their team at Daniel W. Torres Photography set up this fancy booth.
Bisli Event Services' booth was beautiful as usual. Want to see more of Bisli's work? Check it out here.

The Exclusive Cake Shop had an awesome display of cakes set up. I had the chance to enjoy two entire slices at a friend's wedding last year, it was phenomenal. Aren't these designs gorgeous too?
Did you know that HEB does flowers? Yes, they do. And look at how pretty they are. HEB Blooms is certainly one floral shop you should check out.

Kurtis of Kurtis Kronk Photography does amazing work. I especially love the large one in the photo above with the rocks and blue water. Hawaii is so pretty. Kurtis and MT (his assistant) are so fun to hang out with. Great work and good friends? Sign me up! Read more about Kurtis here.

Alberto Vazquez Photography, Events by Reese, Gary Gibson Photography, Masquerade DJ, The Club at Sonterra and Sweet Traditions set up shop in one huge and classy booth. And just in the few minutes I was around, several brides (and a groom) were excited about what this talented bunch had to offer and wanted to book as soon as possible. Their studio is full of inspiration. Check it out.

How sweet is this testimonial for Simply Charming Cakes.

Invitations is the first glimpse your guests get of your wedding, shouldn't it be personal? Yes! And did you know that custom invitations are almost the same price as invitations ordered out a book? Yeah, me either. Not until I spoke with Rebekah Guidroz and her husband about the different options they have. Paper, Ink. had some of the most unique stuff I've seen. Love the fonts used.
McGreevy-Squier Photography had a lot of people surrounding her booth every time I passed by. No surprise of course. Michelle does fabulous stuff.
This had to be one of my favorite booths. Pizzini Designs had a very colorful and cultural display showcased. Isn't this fabulous?
Have you found a venue yet? The JW Marriott Hill Country Resort and Spa is one of San Antonio's newest and most scenic spots to say "I Do". If you haven't had the chance to visit yet, give them a call. They're definitely worth considering.

Miranda of Miranda Laine Photography does some really nice work. She does something with light that I really can't describe, but it's gorgeous. Check out her site and you'll know what I'm talking about.
If I didn't just get married four years ago I would definitely be considering a vow renewal. Monica at All About Honeymoons and Destination Weddings recently got recognized for one of the most prestigious awards in the industry. Check it out here. She really knows her stuff. She was sharing some amazing deals she can offer brides--gourmet dinners, full-service spa collections, great deals on destination wedding packages, and so much more. I l-o-v-e the beach. She was showing me all these beautiful places she's been. I totally need to go on vacation. You should check her out for all these great deals and recommendations of her favorite places.

Another one of my favorite booths was done by Ambiance Floral & Event Designs. Tony and Gene are true masters of their craft. Just look at all of this. That canopy thing you see...they made that. Yup, they carved all that detail.
Rex Formal Wear were offering couples some great deals. Be sure to check them out.
Loco Motion Flipbooks was a hit at the show. Flipbooks are so fun. Your guests will love them. They're a great alternative to traditional favors.
The elaborateness of the booths at the show this year were mind-blowing. Everyone had something grand going on. And Goen South certainly knew how to attract a crowd. The purples and greens were a great color combination--very regal.

Having a photobooth is a great way to entertain your guests during your wedding. San Antonio Photobooths has an elegant and classy one ideal for weddings.
Check out all those awesome photos on Diana Shelley Photography's booth.
Riven Rock Ranch Resort had a very chic table set up. Love the table cloth. It's a beautiful place to get married.
The Weston Centre has been one popular choice for brides lately. They offer a lot of "extras" without the extra cost. It's a very unique space with a great view.

Elaine's Custom Cakes and Cookies did the cake (and cookie favors) at our magazine debut party last year. It was sooo... yummy. Check out more of her work here.

The Marquardt Ranch is a beautiful venue out in Boerne. Pamela and Michael recently had their wedding out there. Check out their story here.
Debi's Bridal has some of the nicest wedding dresses in town. Isn't that one on the right so pretty?
Look at all those people. Philip Chancellor from 5150 Productions was great at getting the crowd excited about The Dig.
The Cake Shop provided all the cakes for The Dig. Hard to be excited to mess up such beautiful work.
