MC: Every bride dreams of the way she is going to “glow” as she floats effortlessly down the aisle. Unfortunately as the day draws closer, we brides tend to realize that there is a long list of things that tends to rob us of our natural glow. Let’s start with STRESS! As you may know, stress is one of the number one causes of many things in our bodies and changes in our hormones (causing changes in our complexion) is on the top of the list! Here are a few recommendations from “yours truly” to help you. I wish I could help you eliminate the stress that comes with planning a wedding, but I was unable to do so in my own case and I am sad to say that it just comes with the territory if you are as much of a perfectionist at me!
So on to my first recommendation: Don’t hate…EXFOLIATE! Your skin is constantly dying and creating new cells. The most important thing we can do is to remove those dead cells that will create a dull, lifeless finish to our skin. Also, if we are taking away skin we must nourish the new skin that is rising to the glorious occasion! May I suggest a 2-step microdermabrasion set that you can use on a weekly basis. It will deliver immediate and long-term results that will cause your skin to “out-shine” the rest! It is way more important to have a smooth canvas for your big day than it is to have good “paint”! This will accomplish just that!
